About the St Kitts & Nevis Visa Medical

The St Kitts & Nevis Visa Medical is a mandatory requirement for foreign nationals seeking a Work Permit, Permanent Residency, or Citizenship by Investment. The government requires the completion of the Form C3 Medical Certificate to ensure that applicants are in good health and do not carry communicable diseases that could impact the Federation’s public health resources.

Who can apply?
Professionals relocating for employment, investors applying for the Citizenship by Investment program, and their dependents. All family members, including children, typically require an individual medical report, though certain tests like HIV screening are usually waived for those under 12.

Eligible Visa Types:

  • Work Permit (Sponsored Employment)
  • Annual Residence Permit
  • Citizenship by Investment (Form C3)
  • Student Visas (Long-term)

Requirements & Official Guidance:
The medical certificate and lab results (specifically HIV) must be no older than 3 months at the time of submission. For the latest visa and health protocols, please visit: St Kitts & Nevis High Commission in London.

FAQs about our St Kitts & Nevis Visa Medical

Which types of visas require this medical for St Kitts & Nevis?

A medical certificate is mandatory for all Work Permits, Residency applications, and Citizenship by Investment programs. It is used to confirm that the applicant is free from serious health problems and communicable diseases like TB or HIV.
You should book your medical 4–6 weeks before your application deadline. The St Kitts & Nevis authorities require the HIV test results to be no more than 3 months old, so it is important to time your appointment correctly so the report remains valid throughout the processing period.
The clinic appointment takes approximately 30 minutes. Because the Federation requires specific lab tests (such as HIV and Syphilis), your final certified Form C3 and original lab reports are typically ready within 2–3 working days.
The main focus is a general physical examination and a mandatory HIV blood test. We provide both in a single appointment.
While often requested for long-term work permits to screen for TB, some categories only require the HIV test and physical. We can provide the X-ray if your specific visa class demands it.
Many Caribbean nations, including St Kitts, often include Syphilis (VDRL/RPR) and Hepatitis B in their “infectious disease” panel. We recommend the full panel for a “guaranteed” acceptance.
For female applicants on certain work permits, a pregnancy test may be required. We can include this in your blood or urine screen during the visit.
