The Scuba Diving Medical is a vital health check required for recreational divers wanting to dive in the UK or in an internationally with a recognised PADI diving centre or instructor.

If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the initial screening questions on the PADI medical form you require a medical carried out by a Doctor.
The medical examination is important as diving can put the body under stress from pressure changes and can increase the risk of fatal accidents underwater.
Our Doctors are trained and experienced in the PADI guidelines and will help you to make a safe decision about fitness to dive.
Conditions we will evaluate include: Asthma, heart problems, ear problems or neurological problems that could lead to loss of conciousness or difficulty co-ordinating yourself.
