The Greece Type D Visa (National Visa) medical is a legal requirement for non-EU nationals intending to reside, work, or study in Greece for longer than 90 days. Under Law 4251/2014, applicants must provide a medical certificate from a recognized body certifying they do not suffer from any diseases that could pose a risk to public health, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Who can apply?
Any individual applying for a long-stay visa at the Greek Consulate. This includes Digital Nomads, financially independent persons (FIP), employees of Greek companies, and students enrolled in long-term academic programs.
