About our Clinic
We offer Forklift Driver Medical Assessments that conclude with a formal Certificate of Medical Fitness, signed by a GMC-registered Doctor. This certificate serves as official proof that you meet the high medical standards required for safely operating Plant Machinery. Crucially, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance recommends that all forklift truck drivers and Plant Operators meet the stringent DVLA Group 2 medical standards.

The assessment is a comprehensive health check conducted by one of our GMC-registered Doctors. It includes:
A detailed review of your medical history.
A vision test (visual acuity and field of vision).
A check of your Blood Pressure (BP).
A basic musculoskeletal and neurological examination to check mobility and reflexes.
Urine test (to check for underlying conditions like diabetes) of required
HSE guidance recommends a medical every 5 years for operators aged 45 to 65, and every year for those over 65. However, your employer may require more frequent checks.
